Y a-t-il une meilleure fa\u00e7on de manifester votre amour et votre attention \u00e0 son \u00e9gard que d\u2019\u00e9conomiser en vue de lui payer des \u00e9tudes?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Un r\u00e9gime enregistr\u00e9 d\u2019\u00e9pargne-\u00e9tudes (REEE)<\/strong> est un programme d\u2019\u00e9pargne parrain\u00e9 par le gouvernement qui vous aide \u00e0 mettre de l\u2019argent de c\u00f4t\u00e9 pour les \u00e9tudes postsecondaires d\u2019un enfant.<\/p>\n<p>Votre \u00e9pargne cro\u00eet \u00e0 l\u2019abri de l\u2019imp\u00f4t jusqu\u2019\u00e0 ce qu\u2019elle soit retir\u00e9e. Lorsque votre BDC (bout de chou) effectue un retrait de son REEE pour d\u00e9frayer ses \u00e9tudes, le montant retir\u00e9 est impos\u00e9 en son nom, alors que son taux d\u2019imposition est habituellement bas.<\/p>\n<p>Lorsque vous \u00e9tablissez un REEE, vous d\u00e9signez un \u00ab\u00a0b\u00e9n\u00e9ficiaire\u00a0\u00bb (le bout de chou), qui aura le droit d\u2019utiliser le produit du r\u00e9gime pour ses \u00e9tudes. La personne que vous d\u00e9signez doit \u00eatre r\u00e9sidente du Canada et poss\u00e9der un num\u00e9ro d\u2019assurance sociale.<\/p>\n<p>Si vous \u00e9conomisez pour cet enfant alors qu\u2019il est \u00e2g\u00e9 de 17\u00a0ans ou moins, le gouvernement versera de l\u2019argent dans le REEE \u00e0 titre de \u00ab\u00a0subvention\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Obtenir une subvention, c\u2019est comme recevoir de l\u2019argent gratis pour payer les \u00e9tudes. La subvention cesse \u00e0 la fin de l\u2019ann\u00e9e o\u00f9 l\u2019\u00e9tudiant atteint l\u2019\u00e2ge de 17\u00a0ans.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Subvention canadienne pour l\u2019\u00e9pargne-\u00e9tudes (SCEE)<\/strong><br \/>\nLa Subvention canadienne pour l\u2019\u00e9pargne-\u00e9tudes (SCEE) du gouvernement f\u00e9d\u00e9ral est \u00e9gale \u00e0 20\u00a0% de la premi\u00e8re tranche de 2\u00a0500\u00a0$ que vous cotisez \u00e0 votre r\u00e9gime chaque ann\u00e9e, c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire 500\u00a0$ au maximum annuellement, jusqu\u2019\u00e0 concurrence de 7\u00a0200\u00a0$ pour toute la dur\u00e9e du r\u00e9gime.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Incitatif qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9pargne-\u00e9tudes (IQEE)<\/strong><br \/>\nLe gouvernement du Qu\u00e9bec verse un montant \u00e9gal \u00e0 10\u00a0% de votre cotisation, jusqu\u2019\u00e0 concurrence de 250\u00a0$ par ann\u00e9e. Sa contribution totale peut atteindre jusqu\u2019\u00e0 3\u00a0600\u00a0$ par enfant pendant la dur\u00e9e du REEE.<\/p>\n<p>Vous pouvez faire des cotisations \u00e0 un REEE jusqu\u2019\u00e0 31\u00a0ans apr\u00e8s son \u00e9tablissement (rendu l\u00e0, ce devrait \u00eatre au tour de votre pr\u00e9cieux BDC de prendre soin de VOUS).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cotisations<\/strong> \u2013 Bien que les cotisations annuelles ne soient soumises \u00e0 aucun plafond actuellement, la Subvention canadienne pour l\u2019\u00e9pargne-\u00e9tudes (SCEE) s\u2019applique <strong>seulement<\/strong> \u00e0 la premi\u00e8re tranche de 2\u00a0500\u00a0$ cotis\u00e9e chaque ann\u00e9e, ou \u00e0 un maximum de 5\u00a0000\u00a0$ si vous avez report\u00e9 des droits inutilis\u00e9s de cotisation provenant d\u2019ann\u00e9es ant\u00e9rieures. Ceux-ci seront impos\u00e9s comme un revenu, \u00e0 moins qu\u2019ils soient transf\u00e9r\u00e9s dans un r\u00e9gime enregistr\u00e9 d\u2019\u00e9pargne-retraite (REER), sous r\u00e9serve des plafonds de cotisation individuels et des r\u00e8gles applicables. Si le b\u00e9n\u00e9ficiaire n\u2019est pas admissible \u00e0 des \u00e9tudes postsecondaires pour une raison ind\u00e9pendante de sa volont\u00e9, des dispositions sont pr\u00e9vues pour effectuer un retrait anticip\u00e9 sans p\u00e9nalit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Les REEE autog\u00e9r\u00e9s<\/strong>\u00a0offrent la possibilit\u00e9 de d\u00e9tenir plusieurs sortes de placements dans un seul r\u00e9gime. Habituellement, le choix de placement est limit\u00e9 aux comptes d\u2019\u00e9pargne bancaires et aux CPG.
